A rester à la maison, ils et elles découvrirent que les oreillers ressemblaient beaucoup aux éléphants. On avait beau les poser sur les lits, on les retrouvait souvent par terre. Ils adoraient s'asperger de poussière, s'y rouler. Solitaires la plupart du temps, ils se rassemblaient parfois en hordes qui traversaient pièces et couloirs en ligne et leur marche tranquille faisait légèrement trembler tout l'étage. Certains matins blancs, ils barrissaient.

Usually lonely, they gathered sometimes in herds to cross rooms and corridors in a line, and their quiet walk made all the floor slightly tremble. Some white mornings, they trumpeted.
